Whether keeping watch on a building site overnight to deter any unwanted intrusion or a complete security and crowd safety team at a 10,000 capacity two day festival, we have the experience, knowledge and staff to provide a safe, welcoming and fun environment for everyone.
Please see a list of our core services below but this is by no means the only services we provide.
Other specialist services we provide are dog handlers (GSD & sniffer dogs), close protection officers, concierge security, CCTV and secure transport.
Our staff have worked alongside a number of NHS PHCT’s providing services ranging from car park access and full site patrols to limiting access to the buildings during the Coronavirus. The officers in these roles are multi-skilled, from being personable and calming to arriving patients to reacting to incidents on wards including those involving violent patients
Corporate/Manned Guarding​
Constantly rising crime rates and the uncertainty surrounding Covid-19 and Brexit are making the role of a Security Guard a more essential one to far more businesses than ever before.
It is more important than ever that business continuity is maintained and any interruption to your business, whether it be caused by vandalism, arson, or theft can potentially lose your company valuable business and needs to be kept to a minimum.
All staff are highly trained for a wide ranging and diverse range of sites and clients and are fully licensed as per SIA guidelines and vetted to British Standard BS7858.
Our SIA licensed officers will monitor and control access to your premises 24 hours a day.
With corporate and brand image at the forefront of perception, our guards can wear uniform personalised to your requirements.
Our officers are fully trained, personable, proactive and maintain a professional approach at all times to give constantly outstanding levels of service as recognised in the British Standard of BS7499.
Stadium/Crowd Management Staff

Following the changes implemented after some unfortunate events that have happened at stadiums in the past such as the Valley Parade fire, Ibrox and Hillsborough, Britain’s stadiums are now regarded as some of the safest venues in the world. With ever changing needs of both the stadium and those who attend the events, crowd safety is at the forefront of every venues plans and is dynamic for every game/event.
Over the past 8 years, we have built an enviable reputation and relationship working alongside League 1 and National League football clubs bolstering their matchday compliment of staff as well as supplying all of their hospitality and event security too. We supply SIA licensed staff to every game, sometimes as many as 45 response personnel on high-risk category games.
Complimenting our staff in the ground we also have three level 4 Safety Officers who have experience from National League stadiums through to EFL and beyond.
We work closely with the stadium, SAG and local police to ensure the safety of all attendees.
Event Security & Stewards
Going hand in hand with our stadium and crowd safety services are our event team staff.
All of these roles are extremely similar and require the same skill set and proactive approach.
Star Protection’s event team works alongside many festivals, events and shows throughout the UK. With dynamic training, our security & stewarding teams provide an effective and family friendly focus to all clientele.
With a comprehensive client list including music festivals, food & drink events/festivals, heritage shows, air and motor shows, as well as various sporting events we are fully versed across the broad spectrum of events.
Wearing our distinctive uniform, Star’s security team are customer focused and all fully licensed to minimum of SIA Door Supervisor level 2.
Our Crowd Safety Stewards are certified to, or working towards, NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety and we have specially trained pit, search and response teams capable of dealing with any circumstance across the event.
Door Supervisors/Licensed Venues
Long gone are the days of the ‘Bouncer’. Today’s ‘bouncers’ are licensed, personable and customer focused Door Supervisors who are skilled in a multitude of disciplines. They are often the first and last point of contact between your venue and your customer and can be the difference between a night out and a really nice night out.
Not only are Star Protection’s staff certified to the level stipulated by the SIA, many undergo further classes and courses in control & restraint, handcuffing, drug awareness, scenario and counter terrorism training, some of which is carried out through our own in-house training.
With clients ranging from full time wedding venues in the tranquil Kent countryside to private members clubs in the City of London, Star Protection, as with all of our services, can tailor the staff and uniform to your venue, meeting your specific and exacting needs.

Mobile Patrols/Alarm Response
2020 was a surreal year and with the pandemic and economic downturn seeing companies forced to close their doors, many properties, both commercial and residential, have been left vacant.
Vacant properties are vulnerable and susceptible to theft, vandalism and worse.
Our mobile patrols and key holding service gives you peace of mind cover for both your premises/sites and employees out of hours.
Together with our Alarm Response service we are able to offer an immediate and comprehensive response to any alarms or property breaches.
Your company may be your pride and joy but sometimes not even the most loyal of company owners wants to be woken up by an alarm activation call at 3:45am.
Our mobile patrols can attend your site(s) in either hi-visibility or unmarked vehicles to carry out random checks and staggered out-of-hours patrols to ensure the site is safe with no signs of unauthorised ingress.
We can even attend the site and unlock any gates or access points prior to staff commencing work and/or carry out a full site patrol and lock it down after everyone has left for the day.
Fire Marshals/Waking Watch
Following various high profile incidents in recent years, fire safety has been thrust to the forefront of both residential and commercial property maintenance.
Our staff have worked with various housing associations and construction companies allowing us to offer the unique service of our fire marshals being both qualified to operate as a fire marshal and also licensed to work as a security officer.
Being SIA licensed gives you and the building occupants complete peace of mind that the marshals are trained in a multitude of skills and also DBS checked.
Each of our marshals wear a uniform which can be tailored to your individual requirements to maintain your corporate image, carry a torch, air horn, whistle and glow sticks as well as wearing an easily identifiable hi-viz at all times whilst on site.
Every site has its own dedicated site supervisor and off-site manager and our fire marshals can be deployed within the hour to satisfy any requirement of any visit from the relevant authority.
