​Star Protection Services Ltd was set up back in February 2012 by husband and wife, Mark and Kelly Hawkins, to try and instil some good ‘old fashioned’ customer service back into the private security industry as a result of them spending many years working within all aspects of the security and licensing trades and finding many services falling short of expectation.

It is reassuring to know your chosen security partner has the best people and processes in place to protect your interests. You can rest assured that Star Protection holds relevant accreditations such as being a SIA Approved Contractor and Safe Contractor to assist in protecting every part of your organisation.

The directors and management team at Star have over 50 years' experience in the security, crowd safety management & licensed trades. Working on an international level, we have travelled the world with some of our clients with our sister company Star Touring

With direct clients ranging from the NHS to the Stonegate Pub Group we work alongside some of the biggest companies in the UK. From uniformed security guards maintaining access control at sensitive sites to door supervisors and even close protection officers, we really are the complete safety and security services supplier.

Our management team hold various qualifications in crowd safety management and from that Star Protection can offer Safety Officers, security & crowd safety stewards and we currently supply staff to League 1 & National League Kent based Football teams. We work alongside the club and stadium managers to offer tailored crowd safety plans for stadiums for both sporting and music/entertainment events.

Star currently supply SIA licensed staff to pubs, bars, clubs and even holiday parks across the south east. On top of these, we supply bespoke and specialised services to highly regarded wedding venues and hotels. Added to this, Star are the soul supplier to a number of festivals across the south east with over 10000 people attending the events.
